Hello, once again, Maveryx! We are back with another Maveryx Chatter question! This month’s question is all about historical events and the datasets that would accompany them. Whether you want to analyze the amount of grapes the Roman Empire consumed as a whole, or how many brushstrokes it took to paint the Mona Lisa, all answers are welcome!
If you could travel back in time and analyze any historical event using modern data analytics tools, which event would you choose and why?
@AlteryxMatt it would be live aid and time ananlysis of donations, and time analysis of tickets sold, overlaid with some spatial,(relationship between when people purchased tickets and how far they live)
@Carlithian @cgoodman3 @Jonathan-Sherman @KathrynMW would be intersted in your response too
I would research the Roman economy in greater detail. Showing the numbers and a dashboard to the Roman Caesar would be cool. I think Claudius would have found it useful.
If I could go back in time, I want to show Alteryx/Power BI to Nightingale, and see how she reacts.
I would like to assess the Mahabharata war mentioned in our ancient Indian epic.
I would love to analyze the logistics behind the use of the Silk Road, and how they managed to traverse 4,000 miles in an efficient way in the 15th century.
I would like to analyse and find insights at the start of farming. Showing people waht seads and fields have the greatest yields. How different farming styles benefit the soil.
