Downloading issues

I'm trying to install Alteryx desktop version on my PC. I have a Macbook Pro and I'm running the installer in an UTM virtual Windows OS, and am getting the following issue, please help.

Hi @Deepta,

it might be the case the virtual environment doesn't have access to the internet at this stage.

I would recommend to download the installer from http://downloads.alteryx.com/ as this comes with the dependencies.

Yes I did realize this to be a potential problem since it mentions to check connection validity and so I installed it again with a browser in the virtual environment. I'm still able to access internet inside the virtual OS, so I believe that isn't the problem

Get it, but there might be some issues we are not able to replicate through the community.

I highly recommend to use http://downloads.alteryx.com/ and get the installer from here which is a different installer than the file you are using right now.

I'm on trial and do not have a license key, the link you mentioned redirects me to this page. I'm not sure about how to go around it?

I was provided a trial license but it still doesn't resolve the installer giving me a server unavailable error. I'm not able to get desktop version in a Virtual Machine. Is this a security measure?
