Who is interested in seeing how many of the www.AdventOfCode.com problems they can solve using Alteryx?
From the website:
"Advent of Code is an Advent calendar of small programming puzzles for a variety of skill sets and skill levels that can be solved in any programming language you like. People use them as a speed contest, interview prep, company training, university coursework, practice problems, or to challenge each other."
Think of it as a weekly challenge type exercise every day till Christmas!
Days 1-4 are very solvable with Alteryx and I am curious to see how many days will be solvable without reaching for the SDK 😉
James Dunkerley has set up a private leaderboard for Alteryx solvers, which you can join with this key 453066-ca912f80.
Hopefully see you there!
Yeah it started to get into ones which are not really data manipulation so while you could do it with an iterative macro it's not really what Alteryx is designed for. I need to look into this VarNum function as that would help on a few of them.
Anybody participating this year?
Yes, there is a group of us doing it again.
