Thousands of analysts use the Alteryx Analytics Gallery to publish, run and share analytic apps, giving them an easy way to deploy the analytics that they have produced and make them available for consumption by a larger audience through a web-based platform.
In 9.5 release of Alteryx Analytics, we have added support for publishing and sharing Alteryx workflows and macros. Just like analytic apps, workflows and macros can be published to your private studio from within the Alteryx Designer. Once available within your studio, you'll notice that workflows and macros are listed alongside any analytic apps you may have and we have updated the list to include an icon and label to help identify the type of workflow. Workflows and macros can be shared via collections with other users or studios, making it easy to deploy your analytic workflows or macros with others in your organizations and beyond.
While standard workflows can be executed similar to apps (there just aren't any questions to answer), macros are not available for execution, since they are more commonly intended for inclusion within other analytic workflows. However, macros can be made available for download by those users with whom they are shared, making it easy them to include them in their own analytic processes.
Publishing and sharing analytic workflows and macros is available for the Alteryx Analytics Gallery, and is available in the Alteryx Server 9.5 installation for customers hosting their own Alteryx Gallery.
