I am very excited about today’s release of Alteryx Analytics 9.5. At Alteryx our goal is to empower analysts with the tools they need to make their jobs easier and free them from the reliance on IT and others within their organization. This release does this through additional data blending capabilities as well as improvements to existing functionality to help accelerate analytic insight. Register for the upcoming "Release 9.5" Webinar on January 29 to see it live. In the meantime here is a brief overview of some of the highlights of this release.

Alteryx in-database toolsThe first of these features is the new in-database tools that allow users to move the processing rather than the data when they are performing data blending. Alteryx introduces twelve new tools to speed up the data blending process by allowing users to push this to Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.

Alteryx interactive visualizationsThe second highlight is the introduction of interactive visualizations for some of the R-based data investigation and predictive tools. This improvement over the typical static reporting that is found in most R-based outputs makes understanding your data and predictive models much easier-resulting in faster insight.

Alteryx workflows and macros in the Alteryx Analytics GalleryThe last feature I am going to highlight is the ability to now publish and share Alteryx workflows and macros in the Alteryx Analytics Gallery as well as the Alteryx Server environment. This will help users establish consistency across their analytical environment as well as drive faster results.

These are just a few of the new overall features in "Release 9.5." Over the next couple of weeks we will have more in-depth and detailed blogs focusing on all of the features in Alteryx Analytics 9.5. Stay tuned and keep a lookout for future posts.
