Tool id Error in Alteryx Gallery

Hi Friends,

I have published an Alteryx Apps in the Alteryx Gallery. The Alteryx Apps when run from the Alteryx Desktop runs smoothly with out any issues but when i run the same from Alteryx Gallery, i get Tool id Error. Please help me to solve this issue.

Could you post a little more details about the error you are getting?

What is the extact error that is being thrown? Also, what is the general purpose for your app?

You likely have a macro or tool in your app that is not also on the server. You can export/package your workflow in some cases to correct this. However, if you are using the scheduling database or your server has an admin user you will need to add your macro to Alteryx macros folder on the server. Just like you have macro paths defined in your  user settings, so to will the server.
