Chained Apps on Alteryx Gallery

So I am new to chained apps and am needing some help. 

I have two different workflows published to alteryx gallery. I am needing one to kick off the other one when the first one has completed running. Everything I am seeing on chained apps is referencing back to a local path, is there a way to avoid this and reference directly to the app in gallery?

Hi @noahcwest ,

When you publish a chained app, you will need to publish App1, ensure that 'On Success Run Another Analytic App' is selected in the Interface Designer Tab (View --> Interface Designer), and then publish to Gallery (File --> Save As --> My Company's Gallery).

When you go to publish to Gallery, you will notice that in the Workflow Options dropdown under Manage Workflow Assets, App2 that you are chaining will automatically be packaged. 

So if you have 2 apps on the Gallery, I would recommend downloading them locally or to a shared location and then follow the steps above to successfully chain the apps.
