Where did my changes to the packaged workflow get saved?

Hi friends,

I opened a packaged workbook (saved on my PC desktop), imported files and made some changes to the workflow. I hit the save option and closed the file. When I re-open the same packaged file I don't see the changes I made. Am I opening the wrong file? wonder where the file with the changes got saved. Any help is apprecaited.

@itssumanb For what it's worth, you can go to file >> open recent and that will display the actual yxmd or yxwz that you would have saved.

When you open a packages workflow Alteryx, it’s like unzipping a zipped file.

A folder will be generated (you are prompted to select a location but most of us take no notice of this) and if you don’t change the location it will be in the same place as where your packages workflow is stored.

All the assets are stored in that folder, so this is where the changed workflow will be, you’ll need to export your workflow again to generate a new packaged workflow.

Note, a yxzp is just a zip file, with a changed extension.
