Hey Peeps!
Wondering if any of you have a use case for using the Lines layer in the Report Map Tool that you could share with me? More than happy to setup a call if you don't want to post here for privacy reasons.
Thanks in Advance!
Joshua

@JoshuaB - are you looking for active use cases (something we're currently working on) or any examples of use cases from the past?
Anything past or present would be great!
@JoshuaB - here are a couple of examples:
Example 1: Hub-and-spoke map for distribution network
(This is fake data)
Example 2: route with stops, or progress along a route
This example is from a fitness challenge we did at my office (which became Weekly Challenge #166), however I have used a similar method to display stops along distribution routes with the overlaid points color-coded according to whether or they were on time or late. For example, a report that shows a map of the top 10 "problem" routes for each DC.
Example #3: route inspection
This is a non-business use-case 😊 where I'm tracking progress toward a goal to hike all of the trails within a local park system. After using spatial tools and GPS recordings to figure out which trail segments have been completed, the lines layer in the Report Map tool to is used to display which segments are complete or not complete.
I'll keep thinking... I might be able to remember a couple more from my days as a supply chain analyst!
@kelly_gilbert These are so perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Much thanks! :)
