Unexpected error with DateTime tool

Hi,

I couldn't find help in previous discussions to solve my problem. I need to convert a string into a date time format.

The input is 28MAR2019:03:11:26.000000

I selected the following custom formatting

ddMONyyyy:hh:mm:ss.000000

However, I am getting this error

ConvError: DateTime (8): DateTime_Out: Cannot convert "28MAR2019:03:11:26.000000" to a date/time with format "%dMON%Y:%H:%M:%S.000000": Expected separator 'ON%Y:%H:%M:%S.000000', got: 'AR2019:03:11:26.000000' Record #1

Can someone help me understand what I am doing wrong, please?

Many thanks,

Rossella

 Hi @Rossella ,

replace  "ddMONyyyy:hh:mm:ss.000000"  by "ddMonyyyy:hh:mm:ss.000000" , I think, the capital letters in "MON" cause the problem. Let me know, if it works for you.

Best,

Roland

Hi Roland,

Thanks for the fast reply. Unfortunately I am still getting this:

ConvError: DateTime (10): DateTime_Out: Cannot convert "28MAR2019" to a date/time with format "%d%bYYYY": Expected separator 'YYYY', got: '2019' Record #1

I am trying to break this datetime in 3 columns but when I try to convert the first part of it I still get similar errors.

[EDITED] It is now working. Thanks a lot for your help!
