Sharepoint Output Tool - Choice Columns

Is there currently any workaround for uploading data into a sharepoint list that utilizes site wide choice columns? I believe elsewhere, it was noted that Alteryx has issues with updating lists that include said choice columns. Additionally, changing these choice columns to another metadata type would not be a solution I can use currently.

Hello Alexander,

When you say site wide choice column, is this column coming from another list or part of sharepoint and combined into the list you are updating through a view? I am able to modify and upload and download choice columns. Is there a certain error or anything that is being returned?

Hi Seth,

By site-wide choice column, I mean a choice column created at the site level. You can also create choice columns at the list level, but through my testing, writing into lists utilizing the "list level" choice columns isn't an issue. The error message I get if I try to write directly into the list is as screenshotted below. Additionally downloading from sharepoint is not an issue either and my only issue occurs with writing back into sharepoint. I've also made sure the upload matches the lists columns and metadata.

Hey Alexander, 

I saw this post. Could you provide details of your workflow that updates a list with choice columns? Though my workflow runs successfully, my sharepoint doesn’t appear as expected and choice columns will show as blank as if no one selected one of the options.
