Received Server Error when using Schedule Workflow option

Hello there,

I just installed Alteryx Non-Admin Designer (Version: 2021.3.4.00445) and tried to schedule running a workflow.

But received following error message.

Repro steps:

1. select Options menu => select "Schedule Workflow"

2. select "My Computer"

3. received the error message above.

I created a workflow that includes only Text Input tool, and I did not change any settings.

Any suggestions?

Unless you were giving some kind of special license directly from Alteryx, workflow scheduling does not come out of the box with Alteryx.  You either need to purchase a Server license, or what they used to call a "Desktop Automation" license.  Not sure if that's still a thing (might just be server license now).  Might be worth it to reach out directly to Alteryx to see if you can get a trial license to test workflow scheduling.
