There is another topics which is almost 6 years old.
Many institutions, especially in finance area, uses milliseconds level data.
Alteryx still not supporting miliseconds level data in time fields after 6 years of discussions.
Which seems at first a bit shocking at this time/moment but as I read the other topic it seems more like incompetence on part of Alteryx.
What does everyone think?
Hello @oerdem19
You can submit an idea here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Ideas/idb-p/product-ideas
Yeah a separate date time data type which adds more precision would be good. You can definitely work round it by using a integer column and use Epoch time or some integer time equivalent. It would be a good idea to suggest on the ideas board @oerdem19 https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Ideas/idb-p/product-ideas
There is a 6 year old post with many people commenting on it. I think it is a bit late for idea suggestion stage.
someone agrees with you!
@oerdem19 I didn't find any post in the idea forum, so it's not a bit late
Wow, since 2016 and still under review?

Please email me if you would like to be included in the Public Preview including the DateTime with Milliseconds feature when it is available: tonya.smith@alteryx.com
I've seen some comments adding in a desire for Timezone support. Someone may want to submit a separate idea for Timezones. Those cannot be done in scope of a single feature.
