Interactive Chart - Change Bar Color Reverts to Original as Soon as You Change Another

Hi,

I am experimenting with the Interactive Chart Tool.  All I want to do is change the colors of the series.

I am trying to change the color for each bar (series) in the Layer menu.  I can change the color for a given bar (series), but it reverts to the original default color assigned as soon as I try to change the color of the next bar (series).

I am also having the same issue, and I'm on Alteryx Designer 2021.3.3.

Same issue. Any updates? This renders the use of the graph tool useless...

I am on Alteryx Designer 2021.2.2

@DMV   No updates.  I still have the same problem. I stopped trying.

same issue on version 2021.2

Hello @hellyars

I'm on 21.4 and this is what I was able to do with the Interactive Chart tool.

I have dummy simple data . See below.

I connected it to Interactive Chart to create a bar chart that looks like below

I then used Transforms, enabled Split by owner

And now under "Layer", I have 3 individual bars to style differently.

I hope this helps, if not feel free to let us know. Thank You!

I am having the same problem with Alteryx version 2020.2.3 Has anyone solved this?

Unfortunately it does not help. To make matters worse, I also noticed that the selection of 'Multiple' colors for the Bar by Type option is sticking to the standard setting as well.

Defect "TDALI-1024 - Interactive chart coloring problem when using Split" is still open.
