Hello, I am attempting to input multiple csv files that have the same field names and order. The files are all in the same directory. I am using a wildcard to pull in all files that begin with CBA (there are two in the file directory), but there is only one file coming in. Are there additional settings I need to configure that I am unaware of?
What does the results log say?
Workflow result logs:
Input tool result logs:
Output shows all records from the same data file under the file name column on the right. Thanks!
Where are the messages from the Input Data tool? Whenever you use wildcards, it should list all files being read into Alteryx
What I am assuming is that the structures of the files don't 100% match, and this would show in the log as a warning
I don't see any messages in the input tool logs.
The second file I loaded to the directory is a test file and is an exact version of the initial file but with one column's values changed - I just checked, and they have the same column names!
That's very odd - mine shows like this. The warning says "the file will be skipped" which is what I think is happening here.
Without seeing more of the config then, I am not sure I can help further - can your workflow be uploaded? Otherwise just go down the batch macro route - attachment here: The Ultimate Input Data Flowchart

I thought it was the AMP engine but my test with AMP engine works just fine.
Maybe we can check further 2 things.
1. It appears that your workflow is saved at a temporary folder, maybe you can relocate it to a "normal" local location.
2. Just in case, just the mapped network drive is accessible. or move the files to local localtion to test again.
This is odd. I tried recreating the tool with the exact same configuration and it seems to work ok. However, when I move it back into the tool container (to replace existing tools resulting in error), the input tool only produces the one file again. Is there anything you are aware of that could cause this or could this be a bug in the workflow?
Interesting behavior... worth a report as a bug!
Back to the initial question, this log shows the issue - it is not connecting to the same files listed in the screenshot so it is likely a different path
