Got error - Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification starting

We were advised to migrate to a lower version of Alteryx designer to match the version of our Alteryx server a mapping with dynamic input connection to SQLserver (that previously worked) stopped working with an error - Format of the initialization string does not conform to specification starting at index 0. Not able to choose connection to correct the problem. Any suggestions?

Searched a while on the internet, mostlikely there is something wrong with your authentication.

Can you first try to run the SQL query on a DB Server client?

Thanks @Qiu, I discovered what the problem was. When we uninstalled Alteryx designer (going from higher to lower version) we also removed the local data connections. While most of my mappings use the Alteryx server (Gallery) database connection this mapping was using my local application connection. Hence Alteryx designer was no longer able to open the SQL editor.
