I have a few workflows that are currently using the Google Sheets input tool. In one of the workflows, I'm trying to copy and paste a Sheets tool to create a new connection. After doing so, the credentials for the connection don't work, so I went through the process of creating a new OAuth2 Client ID and Client Secret. I then got stuck with the step of obtaining a Connection Token.
After some further reading, I found out that these tools are obsolete, and I should be using the Google Drive tools. I installed them, ensuring the version aligns with my version of Alteryx. When I bring a Google Drive Input tool into my workflow, I do not have the option to sign in, as the instructions stated. This is where I'm stuck. I tried contacting my Alteryx reps for support and they suggested I come here. How can I fix this issue and move forward?

Hey OTrieger, as you can see from my screenshot, I do not have the option to sign in to Google Drive. This is where I'm stuck.
In one of these threads someone who uses 2024.1 mentioned you need to toggle off data connection manager and then you can use the drive tool via oauth/browser.
This seems to have fixed both my Google Drive and Google Sheets issues. Thank you!
The solution was to override DCM settings in User Settings, and set it to DCM Optional.
