I'm using an email tool at the end of my workflow that sends an email to one respondent with a layout (containing some text and a table) in the body.
When the body uses the layout field the flow results in a timeout.
When I just put some static text in the body the email tool doesnt time out.
What could be the cause of this? I'm on 2023.1.
How big is the Layout that you are trying to include in the body? That's the first thing I'd look at
Hi @alexnajm, off course fixing the time out entirely would be best. I've tried multiple things already, but timeout keep occuring occasionely.
However, i was wondering whether theres an option to see whether emails have been sent by Alteryx other than the log.
So I can actually build some kind of fail safe that is actually fullproof (instead of triggering something based on the log that doesnt seem correct).
If you can provide more context, I can try to fix the timeout issue.

@alexnajm: what would be context you are looking for / missing?
What email service you are using, what you are trying to send out (i.e. what is in the layout aka how big is it), etc.
