Hi Team,
We need your expect advise to proceed ahead with the automation w.r.t. to our requirment to combining multiple files with different headers into one.
Tools being used : we are using the directory & dynamic input tool to combine the files. spefic headers which are present in most of the files are to be picked and rest all extra heards are to be skipped.
Issue : however data is being picked from few files and rest files are being skipped prompting the warning message that the fiedls are different than the 1st set.
Kindly help at the earlies.
Regards,
Satendra
Hi @Satty12345
The issue can be overcome with the help of the Batch macro.
The below blog will help,
Note: At the bottom of the blog, the macro is readily available for download.
Many thanks

Hi ShakerV,
Many thanks for your prompt support with the possible solution . just to clarify will the below batch macro be working even if the number of excel files vary.
so the names of the files are always changing every month & the number of files also vary so it could be 16 or more depending upon data.
Headers that we want to combine are also scattered around in all files so no standard format for most of the files.
Kindly advise if there is a way w can connect over phone. My mo# 919953081287

Hi @Satty12345
The batch macro will work even if it has one file or more than 100 files too.
Even if the quantity are changing month by month too.
Many thanks
