Alteryx Predictive tools with R not installing. Help!

Hi

I am trying to install Alteryx Predictive tools with R. I am getting an error, "Alteryx is not installed. Alteryx predictive Tools with R 4.0.5(User) can not continue" 

I followed the instructions on this link: Troubleshooting Predictive Tools Installation - Alteryx Community 

but still getting the same error.

When you installed Alteryx, did you use the admin or non-admin version? You need to use the same type of installer for predictive tools as well. A non-admin (user) version will not install if you installed the admin version of Alteryx.

I  have non admin (user) version of Alteryx installed. I am trying non admin predictive tools. Still no luck :(

Hi @ytayyab 

The version number of the predictive tools has to match the version of the main alteryx program as well.

I accidentally ran the admin installer, and it gave me no errors, but I do not have an admin version of Alteryx.  No predictive tools were installed.  I went back to install the non admin version and am getting the same error.

I had this problem recently, and was able to resolve it by restoring the InstallInfo.xml file for my version (2023.2).
