Access Denied Error when using Output

I am setting up a workflow to run from a .json file to a Alteryx Database file. Whenever I try to output the data, it says "Access Denied" in the Output tool. Any suggestions?

Hi @OwenSawyer,

Please check if it will work with another location. I sometimes have an issue like this. If you will delete the output tool and choose the same location it might work.

Good luck!

Hey @OwenSawyer ,

Try to reconfigure a new Output Tool and make sure to double-check your file path. 🙂

Please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns!

Hey Jorge,

Could you please provide a screenshot of the configuration of your output tools?

What's the end of your "Write to File or Database" path?

"C:\Users\George Russell\University of Akron\Fall 2020\Decision Support with Data Warehousing & Mining\Module 11\Dimensions" is the full file path in which I am trying to output to

Ah I see the issue, you need to include a file name with a file extension. 🙂

For example: "C:\Users\George Russell\University of Akron\Fall 2020\Decision Support with Data Warehousing & Mining\Module 11\Dimensions\ExampleFile.csv"

You would be correct! I swear I thought it automatically did that after running but  I guess I was mistaken haha. Thanks a ton for your help and quick response!
