2021.2 Error after installation

I recently upgraded my version of Alteryx Designer 2021.2.1.35394 and now when I open the program, I get the generic error message:

Looking at the error logs, I see this message: 

Alteryx Designer x64 - 2021.2.1.35394
Type: System.TypeInitializationException
Message: The type initializer for 'AlteryxGuiToolkit.Gallery.GalleryConnectionManager' threw an exception.

Any ideas on what is causing the issue or what I can do to fix the error?

Try to uninstall and install alteryx designer again (first uninstall!), this can be the most common error: windows 😄

Thanks @dougperez . I was hoping to avoid that process since I have to track down someone with an admin password to uninstall programs. But sadly, yes, the old uninstall and reinstall seemed to solve the problem.

Looks like uninstall and reinstall is a common fix for error with newly installed Alteryx 😅

Hi, do you have the installation file for version 2021.2.1.35394? i need this specific version to repair the application.

Please note that the Alteryx application will not uninstall from control panel too.
