It's our last release of 2019 and this decade! For the rest of the year, we will be focusing on performance improvements, optimizing our code, along with a handful of other backend tweaks and improvements. We'll also be planning our 2020 roadmap and looking forward to your continued feedback!
A NEW Introductions Forum
Getting to know your peers and networking with the right people provides some of the greatest value that we can all receive from a community like this. But it's hard to know who to connect with, unless you know who’s here. In an effort to provide a better experience, we transitioned what had become a very long 10+ page thread into its own dedicated Welcome & Introductions forum. Learn more about the new forum here and please take a moment to introduce yourself!
Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback on the label suggestions for the forum! 😉
Academy Landing Page Updates
The Academy landing page has also undergone an overhaul to be more cohesive with the rest of the community landing pages for consistency. You'll notice a familiar card layout and a sortable activity feed.
Input Blog
You can now check out the Input Blog within the Blog area of the navigation. If you haven't checked it out yet - take a looksie here.
Navigation defaults to Pinned state
After some feedback and internal input, we've unpinned the navigation by default. With the improved structure and navigation changes we made in November's sprint, we hope to make the Getting Started experience even easier by keeping the nav pinned out (while obviously retaining the flexibility to make unpin it).
