I'm Jim Germack and I work in Chicago as a Sr. Data Analyst. At this point I've been using Designer daily for about 4 months and it has changed the way I now approach projects. I had spent a lot of time working with python but I'm finding that I'm writing much less code now. The videos in the Academy section are very well done and have been helping me learn the software.

I'd encourage you to take a stab at the Weekly Challenges... before you know it, you'll be ready to take the Core exam 🙂

You may also be interested in exploring the code friendly capabilities of Designer, and I'd recommend checking out the Developer forum -- where you can find solutions and ask questions about SDK's, API's, custom tools, etc...
