One of those where I was banging my head against the wall and changing different things that didnt help get the correct answer - then realize I was making Tara's time only a second faster rather than 1 minute. That change returned the right answer. Bit of a facepalm moment.
Otherwise fun to make a quick macro to return ranks for multiple columns.

Got 15th place in my first attempt.  After checking the solution, it's because I was including all competitors in a single event in the placing for that event, rather than only those who completed all 4.  Filtering to those competitors before ranking in each event got me to the right solution.

This was a neat challenge, thank you, @JoeM.  My approach was similar to @esther47.   But I  got rank 9 for Tara vs. 11.  I rechecked my solution and it looks right.  May be the data set has been updated since the solution was posted.  Let me know if you can see if I missed anything if you can.  Thanks,
