I've already solved this challenge with the Spatial tools but now I'm trying to solve it using no spatial palette tools at all. I'm curious as to why I'm getting the correct distance results and a map that looks correct but the spatial info tool suggests that my spatial data is wrong based on other metrics like the Start and End coordinates.

I think it has something to do with the fact that the formula tool can only sequence lines as opposed to polylines but I cannot and do not know how I would prove it. Would definitely appreciate if someone could elaborate on this or if anyone else solved it without spatial palette tools.
