A research group tracked movements of the world’s biggest fish, the Whale Shark, to gain insights into where they go to breed. The data set provides information of daily movement of whale sharks tagged off Ningaloo Reef, a world heritage site located in the north west coastal region of Western Australia.
In this challenge you have to:
- Plot the area (polygon) to show where the group of whale sharks were traveling
- Determine which whale shark traveled the farthest and what was the distance
- Plot the line to show the distance traveled by the shark that traveled the farthest
