As someone who tends to make things more complex than they need to be, I outdid even myself on this one!

For one thing, I (like some others on this chain) interpreted "Which countries have 2 days of holiday for New Year?" as having more than one day. This means Russia is included, since it appears to have 6 days of holiday (Jan 1-Jan 6).  I also considered New Year's Eve, if noted as a separate holiday, as an additional "day of holiday". 11 countries officially celebrate New Year's Eve along with New Year's Day, so they are included.

El Salvador does not consider January 1 (New Year's Day) to be a holiday, but it does appear to celebrate December 31 as New Year's Eve!  I didn't want to list them as not celebrating New Year's at all.

I ended up creating one final output table with a comment for countries that either (1) celebrate with multiple days, (2) don't celebrate the new year at all (four countries), *or* (3) don't specifically have "New Year's Day" (January 1) holiday (one country El Salvador-even though New Year's Eve is celebrated).
