My solution :

Fun challenge!

I had the answer at summarize tool, but added extra tools to format like the solution.

My first time sharing my results. Learned how to get a weekday out of a date. Could it be shorter, yes, next time.

So I went with select and filters to reduce the data set quickly, a formula to calculate the method and then a cross tab to sum and count the data

This was part of my series in trying to get my seven year old to learn Alteryx. I was proud when he dragged a formula tool onto the canvas... the multi-field formula was me though.
