I spent a long time going on completely irrelevant tangents before finally giving in and looking at the hint! The only thing I can't work out is why there is so much duplication in the output for my Macro, but that's easily resolved with a summarise tool! Simple solution using the Circle method described in Wikipedia - needs a bit more work to make it work for any even number of people.

Found myself heading down the macro-rabbit-hole with this one and then pulled up before flying into the mountain. Ultimately solved the challenge and then rethought my approach creating a generic answer that will work for both even and odd counts of people (the odd scenario removing the bye each week). All in all pretty slick!
