Here's my solution. It's nearly identical to the sample output, but it would have helped if a list of characters to remove would have been provided. Data cleansing and removing punctuation will remove the apostrophes. Otherwise, it seems like it would take a while to sift through the characters and determine which ones need to be removed.

Attached. As others mentioned, I had difficulty exactly matching the official solution but I understand the process and the alternate solution methods within the official solution were really interesting.
