Here's my solution.  I had no idea there was such a thing as a "StripQuotes" function until today.

Hello everyone below my solution
I used a multi-field formula to get rid of the quotes and later the tuol DateTime to format the date.

In fact the "Trim" function is very powerful with the "DateTimeParse" function as well. In one step it is possible to both rename the fields and perform the two previous steps.
