I've been putting this one off for an exceptionally long time so I'm glad it's done. Definitely took me longer to do this method than just wildcard union each type but I'm glad I put in the effort to learn. Wouldn't take that long again! Met many obstacles along the way that each taught me something new, such as the batch macro being stopped by a downstream tool if there's no tool attached (had me stumped for way too long).
A challenge that took me a considerably amount of time troubleshooting!
Firstly, I missed out the hint and wondering what tool could possibly gives me the file format value. Then, I had no idea I need to put the select tool for the macro to pull all columns, I was wondering the whole time why I only have an output field!
What a journey!
I have a feeling this type of macro will come in handy in the future!
