I concur with @terry10  100%.   I love RegEx too  and find RegEx a worthy challenge, when it works it is a power house!

Went the easy route but was still quite Taxing!

thought I submitted this a long time ago but guess I hadn't.

 I adopted 2 approaches. One taking into consideration a Tax Free Threshold and the other without this threshold.
