Fun one! My solution.

Is the total columns/rows new to the crosstab tool, or did I just never notice it there?

At first I wrote 

(Length([Score])-Length(Replace([Score], "A", "")))-(Length([Score])-Length(Replace([Score], "a", "")))

but then realized I can take out Length([Score])

Wonder if anyone has a smarter one. I would be dying if we have 100 players in this method...
