2024 Q1 Indianapolis Alteryx User Group - Recap

Thanks to all who came out to Butler for our latest user group meeting! 

@Kenda started us off with an ice breaker to get to know each other better. The group answered questions like how long they had been using alteryx and what type of field they were in. The last question was fun facts about Indy, and the audience was surprisingly knowledgeable. 

@patrick_digan gave a quick introduction to alteryx.

He used an example of reading in excel files and some basic manipulation. The workflow is attached. @Kenda also shared this great flowchart which is helpful when thinking about different ways to read multiple files in excel.

@JarrodT then took us on a brief journey through his career and how alteryx (the software and the company) played a role.

He used an idea from @phottovy and built his journey in the designer software using custom tools with messages. Pretty cool! 

We look forward to seeing everybody at the next user group meeting! We are very interested in finding more hosts/presenters.
