Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have good recommendations places to do for good industry specific sample datasets?
I've been using ics.uci.edu & kaggle.com but would love to know what you all are finding helpful!
Happy holidays!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try https://www.census.gov/data/datasets.html
Will be having more data sets for multiple requirements and very easy to download.
Advance Happy new year wishes!!!
Hey @gautiergodard, I've used https://data.world/ in the past which has some good stuff. If you use Snowflake at all, there's a native marketplace on there as well (including free to use stuff). There's also the option of making your own mock data as well with sites like https://www.mockaroo.com/ so that you can ensure the fields contain what you need etc.
@gautiergodard + @ShankerV + @DataNath Contributing with a source I like to check periodically: https://www.reddit.com/r/datasets/
Can also ask some questions to the OP and clarify where necessary, and I find alot of folks will compile and share data sets their directly for their own interest areas. Really cool and would recommend checking out, and maybe sorting by top all time just to get a feel.
Additionally: https://datasetsearch.research.google.com/ (actually found out about this from Reddit! haha :)
@gautiergodard + @ShankerV + @DataNath + @AlteryxMarco .I found it from Wikipedia about list datasets for machine learning : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_datasets_for_machine-learning_research
include list of open data portal, list of portals suitable for multiple types of applications, list of portals suitable for a specific subtype of applications, image also text data . Have a nice research.
If you have Alteryx Auto Insights, you can use the Playbooks feature to generate sample datasets using their AI, then download those samples direct from the platform.
