Hello! I have a question.
At the company where I'm an intern, we use Alteryx and wanted to learn how to use it, so i've created an account in Alteryx with my corporate e-mail, but since the license comes at a cost to the company, I sought some financial support to be able to use Designer. I found out that with the email from the college where I study, I would have a license for free. So, I created another account with the student email and have been practicing on my personal computer.
Now I intend to take one of the certifications and I have seen that if I keep both accounts, I can even be banned, even if one account is for personal use and the other for corporate use. What should I do? Delete college account and lose student license? Or delete the work account?
I would probably use your Student email tied to your account as that's where your license is currently. Once your company acquires a license for you, you can update your user profile with your work email instead of your school email. This also works if you decide to change companies later on. You can update your user profile to the new company once you get a license through them.
Hi @giuliagarios !
That's a great question. @cjaneczko has a perfect solution for you.
The Certification team did want to add that it is possible to have a badge transferred to a different Community account! Only the Certification badge is transferred, not any Community activity or other badges you may have earned. But in a pinch, it's a great option for job changers.
Feel free to reach out to our team with any further questions at Certification@Alteryx.com.
Thanks!
That means I should delete my account with the corporate email and then change the email of my personal account once I get the license from the company, right? But, if I do that, aren't I unable to reuse that corporate email, since I deleted the account with it?
