Hello,
I have been struggling with the Interactive Lessons due to the lack of closed captioning. Today I found a way to enable closed captioning even though it is not part of the original recording. It is a game changer for me. I am sharing in the hope that others can benefit from this. To enable Closed Captioning go to the volume Icon, at the bottom of the screen in my case, not sure if that is true for everyone. Select Accessibility, Turn Live Captions On. I would be happy to help anyone that needs help with this.

I'm struggling to find that option. I tried selecting accessible text but doesn't seem to do anything and I don't see a closed caption option.
So the closed captioning is done through your computer itself, not the video in the lesson. You'll want to click on the volume button on the very bottom of your screen in the toolbar of your computer NOT the volume button of the video itself.
In Windows 11, I found this setting by clicking the Volume icon in my taskbar and then selecting "Accessibility" from the pop-up menu. From there, I clicked the slider to on for "Live Captions" which requires me to install additional items from Microsoft. They claim that all audio is kept on device and not saved.
That said, I shouldn't have to use a 3rd party tool to get captions. These should be included as an option in Alteryx's learning platform. (Along with playback speed adjustments, ideally.)
