Can't paste screenshots

I've noticed in the past week or so that I cannot paste screenshots to my posts/replies on the community.

As a mac user I normally use cmd+ctrl+shift+4 to screengrab a portion of my screen and store it on my clipboard.

When I try and paste in the comment or post text box I get the following error:

I've also tried using snipping tool in my parallels and then pasting, but I get the same error.

Instead I need to use cmd+shift+4 which saves the screengrab to my desktop, and then upload it from there.

Has anyone else had this issue?

When I post my comment/post the first time, I also get a warning saying

but nothing looks different in my post....

Great, thanks. I know its not perfect but seems to do the job in a pinch while they get the old method back and working.

I ran into this issue a few weeks ago as well. I use snag-it and found that copy-paste doesn't work, but dragging the thumbnail from the filmstrip brings in the image as well as copy and paste. I'm not sure if snip-it uses the same process, but you can try dragging the thumbnail and see if that works. I seem to get the full size image as well.

Tried dragging snip-it, but it doesn't work sadly :(

Use the background image feature of comment tool. that will help in pasting the screenshot within the Alteryx.

Use the Background image option of comment box.

@Nidhi_Baid thanks for the suggestion, but this thread is about screenshots on the alteryx community, not in designer :)
