Still trying to figure out part 2. Going to go crazy.

Unapologetically catching up - apologies for the crazy workflow answers! I know I am normally better that this, I will come back later and tidy up!!
Took some time off, but back in the saddle. Day 6 was interesting. I did not see the twist of part 2 coming, but it was an interesting solve.
The crux of this problem is in grouping and pivoting. Part 2, simply requiring a little more, based on character location relative to the “spaces” but in concept, similar.
Here’s my workflow solution (and attached):
Woof. Part 1 was a nice exercise in simple parsing. Part 2 was tricky for me. I tried several different approaches before finding the right one, and it ended up being simpler than I originally thought.
