Hi, Dallas / Fort Worth Alteryx Users!  You are invited to our next Alteryx User Group Virtual Meeting, which will be Friday, July 31st, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.!  This meeting will be a special one; we are honored that Alteryx has asked us to host a statewide virtual user group meeting, for all of Texas!

Last month, the Austin User Group held the first Texas-wide meeting, which was a great success, coming from our state's capitol city.  Now, our Dallas / Fort Worth User Group is privileged to host the next state-based meeting!  For information about the Austin User Group meetings, please see their page on the Community at https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Austin-TX/gp-p/austin-tx

For our upcoming virtual meeting, we will feature two exciting and informative presentations:

Nick Michels, Associate Inside Sales Engineer, Alteryx, will present on "What is APA?  And What's New in 2020.2"  Nick is highly knowledgeable about the newest aspects of Alteryx, as well as an excellent presenter!  With the launch of APA earlier this year, we will have an in-depth discussion on the topic as well as discover the cool new features of version 2020.2.  A Q&A will follow Nick's presentation as well.

Andy De, Senior Director Solutions Marketing, Healthcare, Alteryx, will provide a fascinating presentation on "Leveraging AI and Analytics to Innovate and Respond to the Disruption in the wake of the Pandemic".  The abstract for his presentation is as follows:

"For Healthcare Providers and Public Health, the outbreak of the pandemic is creating unprecedented challenges - from disrupted supply chains and the inability to adequately protect patients and healthcare personnel, to a massive shortage of capacity, personnel, drugs, devices, testing kits and supplies. The COVID-19 has also resulted in staggering revenue losses for Healthcare providers from a massive reduction of elective procedures, specialty care, and diagnostic services which is also negatively impacting margins and triggering furloughs and layoffs.

In this presentation, we will discuss a forward looking perspective on the implications of the COVID-19 Pandemic and showcase potential strategies that Healthcare Providers can leverage to respond to the “New Normal” culminating from the Pandemic from a Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) as well as “Virtual Medicine/ Hospital at Home” enabled by Digital Patient Engagement (DPE) powered by a convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Analytics."

Andy is an exceptional writer and engaging presenter on the subject of healthcare; please see the links below for additional posts that will be referenced in his session:

A Q&A session will follow Andy's presentation as well, so please bring your questions!

The agenda for the meeting will be:

2:00 to 2:05 p.m. Welcome and Introductions

2:05 to 2:45 p.m.  "What is APA?  And What's New in 2020.2" by Nick Michels, Alteryx

2:45 to 2:55 p.m. Community Updates

2:55 to 3:05 p.m.  Intermission with a local band!

3:05 to 3:55 p.m.  "Leveraging AI and Analytics to Innovate and Respond to the Disruption in the wake of the Pandemic" by Andy De, Alteryx

3:55 to 4:00 p.m. Closing

(All times are Central Time)

A Virtual Happy Hour will follow the meeting, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., so feel free to bring a favorite beverage (it will be Friday afternoon, after all), and join users from around the state for open discussions and camaraderie!

Please register for the virtual meeting through this link, and thank you to Alteryx for generously hosting our meeting!  Login information will be sent to you once registered:  https://pages.alteryx.com/usergroup-dfw-tx.html

Thanks to all of you for being a part of the Texas-sized Dallas / Fort Worth Alteryx User Group (we are the largest user group in the U.S.) and for your ongoing support!  Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who would like to attend; we welcome all new and experienced users, as well as those who are simply interested in Alteryx.  We look forward to having you join us for this exciting statewide meeting for all user groups in our Lone Star State!

We hope you and yours stay safe and well,

Hi, Dallas / Fort Worth Alteryx Users!  Just a reminder that we are having a statewide Texas user group virtual meeting this Friday, July 31st, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central time!  We have a couple of great presentations on APA, What's New in 2020.2, and Leveraging AI and Analytics to Innovate and Respond to the Disruption in the wake of the Pandemic.

Our leadership team will also be providing Community Updates about the newest ways Alteryx is supporting users around the country.  In addition, for our Intermission, we will feature a local band!  I will give a few hints; can you guess who this band is?

  • Won 2 Grammy Awards
  • From Denton, Texas
  • Their genre has been described as "Nuclear . . . "  (Can you guess the second word?)
  • They have inspired a traditional dance that many Dentonites perform on the Courthouse Square during the Holiday Lighting Festival

Please post a reply if you may know who this band is!  If you have been to their performances, you have probably seen me there.  🙂

To register for the meeting, please see the following link:  https://pages.alteryx.com/usergroup-dfw-tx.html

A Virtual Happy Hour will follow the meeting and will be a separate Zoom invitation, posted during the presentation.  Please also feel free to forward this invitation to others who may be interested; we welcome all levels of Alteryx users, including those who are new or simply interested in Alteryx.

Thank you for being a DFW Alteryx User Group member, and we hope to see you on Friday!

Hello,
Is anyone watching this email address right now? The DFW User group session is starting and I've tried to register but no email ever comes with a link. Maybe I had to register in advance, not sure. Just hoping I might find out how to listen in today.
Thanks,
Ava
