Joel from Flex’s two-person Global Services and Solutions Department talks about how they made incredible enhancements to data analytics and visual reporting for both internal management and customer service teams in about 6 months, as well as for how they surfaced analytics to their external customers. While Flex had already implemented Tableau, it quickly became apparent to them that they had a data problem – and that they needed a solution to blend data, keep data consistent and surface data to all their “customers” both internal and external. One of my favorite pieces was Joel discussing how they’ve started to use predictive analytics to analyze and better predict material consumption during the manufacturing process.
