Recently upgraded Alteryx server from 2023.2.1.7 to 2024.2.1.41 and getting the following error:
Settings Validation Error
Settings verification failed, please verify the following
Setting with root <Controller> and name <EmbeddedMongoDBRootPath> must be empty or contain an existing instance
This error occurs at the final step of "Finalize Your Configuration" on Alteryx Server 2024.2.1.41 configuration
When I try to run the MongoDbUpgrade.exe (recommended in a similar discussion post), I'm getting the following message (which looks like an error, but is hard to tell):
Alteryx Server has been updated to use MongoDB version 7.0.9 for it's internal database.
To support this update, we need to migrate your existing data. This is a one-time operation depending on the amount of data, the migration may take several minutes. Once complete, Alteryx Server will be ready for use.
Set the location for a backup to be created. Ensure that you have sufficient disk space and read/write permission in the backup location.
You are upgrading from a version of Server that utilizes MongoDB version older than 6.0. You need to upgrade to Server version 2023.2 before moving forward.
Any additional ideas on how to troubleshoot would be much appreciated!
