In many ways I wouldn't really see the Alteryx platform and Talend as being directly comparable. Talend focuses solely on ETL and data prep while Alteryx covers this and a whole lot more including predictive analytics, spatial analytics, collaboration and sharing features, data discovery, machine learning, native R and Python, integration with BI and data visualisation platforms, programmability using the Alteryx API, extensibility using the SDK, an awesome community, etc. etc. etc.
