After upgrade to 2020.4.5 Server - Alteryx Runner failing

Information	-1	Running at a Low Priority.
Error	1	Tool #2: Failed to run external program "SupportingExes\AlteryxRunner.exe": The system cannot find the file specified. (2)
Information	-1	Completed Event #1: After Run: Run QXXXX.bat

Using the famous Crew Runner macro . I thought I will make all of them absolute path then the RUNNER etc fails to run in my desktop as well . Worst nigh mare is some kind of '_external' shows up on path and confuses me a lot . it has been like this for a week now .

all my errors vanished after I asked server team to get latest MY SQL ODBC driver which was 8.0.24 

And I had to do re work some of my data connections and finally the errors disappeared
