I receive a daily file from our sales team (file name is "dd-mm-yyyy" i.e. date for each file). This file contains 4 tabs (assume their name are A, B, C, D, E) in each file. Each tab contains different information. These files are saved in monthly folder for each month (number of files depends on number of days in that month). Assume these files are for July 2024. So I have 31 files, naming '01-07-2024', '02-07-2024' ---- till '31-07-2024'. At every month end, we are required to put a multiplcation formula in Tab A of cell names "Quantity" and "Rate" in a new cell and Tab C of cell name "Revenue" and "VAT %".
I need alteryx to update all 31 files (tab A and Tab C) having these foumulas. Tab B, D and E remains unchanged.
Once that update is done, I need a new consolidate file of all 31 files, which should have date wise (pick up from file name) sum of newly created columns in tab A and C.
Could you please help me to draft a work flow for the same.
