Wizard forces to choose another sheet name

Hi! I would like that if someone opens the yxwz app then it forces the user to choose not a file, but a sheet of the file. So far it asks for an input file, but I don't want to change the input file. How should I set up the tools and which tools to reach this goal? I attached what I have so far. Thanks!

Hi @olahnil 

If you use a Text Box instead of the File Browse. The user can then enter the name for the sheet.

Then in your action tool, just update that part of the file string (AKA after the three pipes "|||")

Thank you. The user should choose from a drop down list, not enter the sheet name. I attached how I set it, but not works. I am completely now at creating apps.

Looks like you are nearly there.

Within the action tool, at the bottom you have the check box to only replace a specific string.

Check that and leave in only the sheet name part.

It will then just update that with the values from your drop down.

Hi @olahnil ,

This  app  reads  list  of  sheets  and  filters  a specific sheet  on user  selection . 

The zip includes  app and  excel input file .
