Hello Everyone
As you can see from the image, these are column names that belong to various files. While most of them are similar, 4th file at column 7 is different and so is the 5th file at column 9. I need to use the Union Tool to merge the data from all these files and create one single Excel sheet. I don't know how to put this question. I will try.
How do I tell the Union Tool that some columns are not in the correct position. I mean, forget column C for the 4th file. Instead read column D as C? Or is the Union Tool intelligent enough to understand the columns and prepare the data accordingly?
On the otherhand, if there is any other method without the Union Tool, kindly let me know.
Kindly help.

Hi,
You can always use "config by position" if you are sure that the columns will always be in the same order. 2nd option is to configure manually what columns go together see photos attached

As I see, there are a few ways you can go about this. You can manually configure fields. Or you can use the Dynamic rename tool (you would a mapping text input file the select the option "Take Field Names from Right Input Rows").
