Txt format to csv

Hi,

 

Could you please help me out on giving perfect alignment (text to column ) to  below mentioned txt file.

 

I need to present the data below mentioned format (Fields)  in csv.

 

S.NO SM HOLD TYPE ISSUE CURR CNTRY CHANGE VALUE VALUE ID DATE TIME

Have you tried the fixed width input option?  You can manually place your field breaks:

Hi - I am tried but its(fixed width) not working.

How is it not working?  I got it to work.  It's not pretty, and you'll have to do a lot of data manipulation to get it how you want it (probably some filter tools, multi-row tools, formula tools, etc.), but that's usually the case with fixed width.  That's why if at all possible, I try to talk to the owners of the report and see if we can get a data file in CSV format or something else.  But sometimes that's just not possible and you have to work with the fixed width format.

 

Maybe give a screenshot of a "before" and "after" and we can give you some pointers.
